The "Korean-Tamil" connection

According to the legend, Princess Suriratna, also known as Heo Hwang-ok, travelled from India to Korea in 48 AD, some 2000 years ago, and started a dynasty by marrying a Korean king.

Whether she was from the Pandya kingdom in Tamil Nadu will be a nice debate. But emblems of fish 🐟 exist in tombs of hers and her family.

I keep wondering what she would have gone through during her travel, getting adapted to the Korean culture there, sharing cultural wisdom and if she had to put up with any nostalgia she had about the Ayi Kingdom she was from.

Here's my humble attempt to celebrate her via a procreate illustration.
