177 | Design Magazine

Ciento setenta y siete is a fictional design and visual culture magazine created in collaboration between the Design School of La Rioja and Aragón. It is mainly dedicated to future designers, to educate them visually and also to promote young designers' work with some cards included as extra elements. With influences like David LaChapelle, It's Nice That and Look magazines, Anselm Kiefer and Javialcuadrado, the visual identity of this magazine is created. The concept is the contrast, at all levels: contrast between vibrant colors and black and white, contrast between the big paging number and small text body, textures and the contrast between condensed sans serif and manual typefaces. Moreover, the digital version is also created for different formats: computer, tablet and mobile.​​​​​​​
