Antelope
I am so excited to share my collaboration with Leela Taylor that I have been working on for the past few Animation Co-Lab live streams.
I love animating illustrators' designs and collaborating with them, as it gives me the opportunity to work with fresh designs and make an illustrator's work come to life. I love seeing their excitement when they see the finished animation for the first time.
Through the live streams, I get the opportunity, not only to show my work process to animation students but also the illustrators themselves. I hope to help them understand what it takes to create an animation, what steps there are in the process and how illustration for print or media is different to illustration for animation.
I hope you enjoyed watching me put this together and seeing the final outcome. I am very happy with the animation. I purposefully created limitations, in that the body of the antelope and the bird are rigid and only key body parts are moving.
