Nudism

(Student work) This design was part of the opening spread for a magazine article layout assignment about the Nudist culture. I wanted to hint at the Garden of Eden without overtly providing visual cues like apples or nudity or snakes. Having seen letters stacked like this before with visual elements interspersed within the typography, I was inspired and wanted to create my own version of this technique. Using white type and amping up the saturation of the leaves and flowers helped the letters pop and create a rich, luxurious aesthetic.
