Delete a Profile

When you design an app, do you put some thoughts on how one deletes a profile? What‘s the right or wrong way to do it? I guess the right answer is, and will be, “It depends.”

For Tribevibe, I decided to make a deletion flow that captures relevant data of why one deletes a profile. So, the steps are as follows:

1. Select why you delete your profile.
2. Explain a bit more of your reason (optional.)
3. Don‘t forget to download your data—GDPR requirement.
4. Retype your password. This might be tedious, but it protects you in case someone else wants to delete you profile.
