Interior Design of Duplex Apartment

The interior design of the duplex includes an entrance hall, kitchen, dining room and living room. Interior design primarily meets the functional needs of users, but also the aesthetic values of the space. Due to the smaller dimensions and the specific shape of the base, the initial idea was to achieve the impression of an open and clean space. By getting rid of partition walls, using light colors, as well as using designer furniture, it has significantly contributed to the visual enlargement of the space. At the very entrance, on the left side, there is a shoe storage, which visually sinks to the ceiling with its height. The staircase is specially designed with black steel girders clamped to the ceiling. The girders extend all the way to the suspended ceiling above the kitchen and thus their aesthetic value is increased. The kitchen is open type with a smaller bar. The dining table is located right behind the kitchen bar and is intended for four people. There is also a direct connection to the loggia from the dining room. Although the living room is separated from the dining room and kitchen, the suspended ceiling that extends from the kitchen all the way to the living room contributes to the visual connection between the two spaces. The arrangement of the space is based on a combination of modern with a smaller share of industrial design, which is reflected in the plastered ceiling and walls. Wallpaper was also used to decorate the walls, as well as wall paints in the kitchen and dining room. The predominant colors are white, gray and brown. In order to avoid the impression of a cold space, a wooden covering on the floor was used, while the kitchen floor is white cast epoxy material. Below the stairs are panels of white refined plywood whose design matches the design of the shelves in the living room. In addition to the central lighting in the dining room and living room, LED lighting were also used on the shelves, kitchen elements, under the stairs and the suspended ceiling. This space meets all the functional needs of users and is a modern way of interior design.
