Branding for the HMS Challenger

This is my first post to dribbble! This mark is also Day 1 of my daily design challenge to brand a famous ship everyday for the next 30 days. I would love to get feedback to improve my skills.

The HMS Challenger was the first global marine research expedition conducted from 1872 – 1876. During the voyage the HMS Challenger assisted in the cataloging over 4,000 species and traveled more than 68,000 nautical miles.
