Quran Memorization Assistant App

Hello, in this shot, I want to share some screen from my UX case study bout Quran memorization. The uniqueness of this design exploration is makhraj recognition (that I want to talk in this description).
-
Traditionally, people who wanna fix their Quran recitation gonna learn from the expert, so their recitation gonna directly corrected. So while we at home or currently not on meet the expert, we cannot check our recitation by ourselves. I think it will be fun if we can check our makraj with app as the expert do on correcting our recitation.

The idea of makhraj recognition came to my mind after several time using Google Assistant. So I use Google Assistant to test my English speaking, quite a good way of learning. I found out that "Ok Google" really recognize my voice. My brothers and father ever tried to activate my Assistant but failed. From that arose curiosity on speech recognition and a question "What if we using the speech recognition as makraj recognition to be implemented on Quran recitation correction?"
-
Speech recognition have a long history and I believe that somebody ever think about makraj recognition before. I found a paper from Universiti Malaysia Pahang, 2012, their research is about makhraj recognition on 10 hijaiyah combination of alif (ا). The conclusion is their system successfully recognized the correct makhraj but currently on the same reciter/sources (fyi, they take 10 times repetition on single hijaiyah combination for each reciter and there is 20 reciter).
-
It's still open to all muslim developer out there who interest on speech recognition to complete this works. From makraj recognition on each combination of hijayah word, then moving to the the tajwid, and finally, the system could implemented for Quran recitation inshallah.

Have a barakah day!
