Building a Great Culture – Part 3

‘Change is a part of every culture and organization. Embracing change and innovating will ensure that your organization thrives’ – Jon Gordon, an American Author and Speaker.

No matter what industry you are in, change is an inevitable part of workplace. At a time when the world is undergoing rapid digitalisation and businesses were still on the fence evaluating the level of their digital maturity, the sudden pandemic has made digital transformation an overnight strategic focus for all organisations, big or small. And with this changing technological landscape, it is important to create a workplace culture that adapts to these changes; the sooner the better! Cultural agility is the new buzzword these days. The case for cultural diversity and inclusion in workplace has become more compelling now than ever. With virtual working in place, a profound cultural transformation cutting across the entire organization is the need of the hour. It, therefore, becomes imperative that organizations take responsibility in ensuring their employees are happy when keeping up with any technological changes in the workplace. Eventually, those businesses that embrace the organizational and technological changes and make the most of the opportunity arising from the crisis will not only emerge stronger and better but also be able to evolve in a post-disaster world with greater agility and innovation at their command.

So, while understanding organisational culture along with technological change is complex and difficult to grasp, putting the necessary organisational tools in play will enable successful outcomes. How has the pandemic brought changes in your work place?
