Lesson Plan App

Preparing lesson plans is one of the main tasks of the teacher. In Indonesia, the lesson plan created following government regulations of the ministry of education and culture no 14 (2019) lesson plan must include three main components, namely learning objectives, learning activities, and learning assessment. However, previous studies stated there is some problem encountered by the teacher when making a lesson plan. The issue faced by the teacher when creating a lesson plan is to formulate a learning indicator, choosing the learning method, decide learning media, classify the learning activity (Gundawari, 2019), and decide the appropriate learning strategy and learning method in the lesson plan (Safitri, 2018). Therefore, designing new interventions is needed to simplify the process of creating a lesson plan.  The lesson plan app designed to make the process of making lesson plans more effective and efficient for teachers to create lesson plans. This application contains three main components that must be included in the lesson plan following government regulations. So that the lesson plan generated is following the learning process standards set by the government. Besides that in this application, there is also a choice of learning methods, learning media, learning assessments so that the learning process is more varied and can adjust to the character of students and the course subject. This is the UI design I made based on my first UX case study. This is also a design that I developed from the previous design lesson plan app, which won a platinum award in the Innovation Competition for International Summit of Innovation & Design Exposition 2020.
