There can be no real disagreements with the fact that when you think about building a team where employees are engaged, encouraged and motivated to stick around for a while, there is one word you must have heard again and again: culture. And, of course, for good reason; the people who work for you have a huge impact on the overall growth of your organization. But, much as Rome was not built in a day, fostering a vibrant and cohesive culture doesn’t happen overnight and takes a considerable time in cultivating a positive culture within your organization. It is quite obvious that nobody wants to feel like just another cog in a wheel. In order to establish a strong winning culture, you need to be able to help employees see the world view; they simply can’t be tunnel vision. They need to look beyond their immediate to-do list and understand the greater purpose they're serving.
One look at the numerous benefits and it becomes obvious that company culture is irrefutably important, but knowing how to establish and foster one within your own company can be daunting. So, how does culture affect your workplace? I would like to hear from you. Do comment here.
