[Book Cafe Redesign] Day 2 Menu_V1
Today I redesigned their Menu. They has such a color Menu with attractive pictures, as a customer, I enjoyed it and that's the reason why I like them. But, as a designer, it's so painful to make the page looks neat and let all the items fit in.
I understand they want to show all their beautiful pictures of food to let the customer preview, I understand they want to show all ingredients to let customers know what is inside (in case, people who have special requirements/allergic ordered the wrong dish, such as me in keto diet:P), and I understand they want to show the price to let the customer compare cross different items.
In order to show all the info, I decided to archive the category into folders. (since they are BOOK cafe, I like this concept to make the web paper-like)./
Since they have such a long list of breakfast menu, I divided the sub-category into "all-day breakfast","weekends specials" and "toast", under each sub-category, each page will show 3 items and will let the customer swipe to the next page.
Each item heritage their original design, to show pictures, name, price, and ingredients of each dish.
This is quite a complicated design, originally, I plan to deploy it for real by webflow, then propose to them. But it really requires a lot of effort. Maybe I will propose to them first, see whether they like it or not, just in case all my effort will be in vain.
Finger cross for me^^
