The Planner - Festivals of Britain

The Planner commissioned me to create an illustration of columnist Louise Brooke-Smith dressed as Guy Fawkes in the vaults of the Houses of Parliament. The article talks about the cancellation of many British festivals and events this year, anticipating that limitations may also be placed on Bonfire Night. Of course, I am well aware that the Gunpowder Plot took place in 1605 and dynamite wasn't invented until 1867 but a) this illustration is not an historical recreation and b) I would never turn down the chance to draw a big pile of dynamite sticks.
