Create for Uncertainty

Being able to navigate as the business you thought you had morphs into the business you’re going to have requires an ability to pivot, confidently and quickly. We pride ourselves on creating products that are adaptable and functional in ever-changing situations so pivoting is less painful.

Up until March 2020, Chicago Humanities Festival sold tickets through its website, which we built when live events were a thing people could safely host. Overnight, they needed to switch to a digital-first event structure and surface years worth of video and written content from previous years to keep their audience engaged. Sure, it took a lot of reconfiguration, but because of our efforts to build a flexible, modular site, there was no need to start from square one.
