An album that I was waiting for soooo damn long, and I can say the wait was completely worth it. MAGDALENE is the most mature, personal and emotional production by twigs. A record full of avant-garde sounds, vulnerability and soft harmonies juxtaposed with strident, dramatic and experimental productions à la Arca. It’s such a beautiful album in which twigs was able to show an evolved version of herself. Much sophisticated than the one she introduced us with the amazing predecessor LP1. MAGDALENE is simply an album to uglycry while dancing in a pole.
