Unbroken

Silvia Balbinot and Pierluigi Incutto, two Italian NHS workers at St George’s hospital (Tooting, London) met at a CrossFit class and instantly bonded. Together, they came up with an idea for a sports brand and lifestyle called Unbroken. The brand would be inclusive to all people, regardless of gender, belief, origin and sexual orientation.

They asked me to help produce a logo that would capture the essence of unity and inclusivity. This would then be used to produce a basic line of activewear for both in and out of the gym.

The final logotype incorporates an unbroken line running right through the centre of the design. The ‘U’ in the design is also a nod to the most recognised LGBT symbol, the rainbow.
