Event Mobile Application

While being cooped up at home earlier this summer with COVID-19 going on in the world, I took the opportunity outside of work to get my UX certificate. For the final project I chose to create an event application with a twist, which was bringing in more social features. This project went through the full UX process with problem statements, user personas, user interviews, and user testing. Here is a sneak peak at the project, more to follow soon.

This was also my first FULL project in Figma, although I've designed in it over the years. It was nice to see the benefits of Figma's auto layout and how they handle components compared to Sketch. I'll still be in Sketch for the time being with everyday work, but its always good to stay up to date on multiple tools.
