In user-centric designs, it is very important to know the status quo. As a problem solver, we must have that probe working for us. As every situation has its own context and demands a very subjective approach. And thus we must invest some time to know the environment for which we are going to solve a problem. With the context, we must know what are the touchpoints through which the user is going. And this understanding helps us in architecting suitable behaviors. Like this, we must know the man first before making the intelligent machine. And thus the human behavior becomes the core of solving the problem. We must nudge the user in an appropriate direction to achieve the goal. And for that external motivation helps. Maybe it is any given scenario, we must try to capture the touchpoints and architect the behavior for the user using those. And like this, if we successfully manage this chemical factory we can have an innovative solution for the user.
