Looking Up: The Positive Health Care App

For my M.F.A. Graphic Design Thesis, I crafted an app called "Looking Up"; a healthcare app that emphasizes the importance of positivity in challenging situations. The goal of this initiative is to create a fluid ecosystem of happiness by making the patient, their family members, and caregivers smile. I lost my father to cancer and this challenging experience was the driving force behind this app. My thesis aims to create and support positive environments through purposeful design, to heal suffering through visuals aids, to re-imagine health care through a smile.
