C.O.R.E - NASA & SpaceX Health Platform - Case Study
C.O.R.E Nasa and SpaceX Health Platform
NASA and SpaceX combined to create a physiological and psychological health tracking platform for their Mars bound astronauts. The CORE app is controlled by a ML system, that collates and responds to neurological data via Neuralink to help keep the first Mars colonisers emotionally stable and physically capable for the mission duration.
Product Management - Case Study
Colonising Mars will be humanities greatest technological achievement. The immense variability in external factors that could impact our intra-space progress in the next decade, from preparing rockets, boosters, software, advanced materials, refuelling, telemetry guidance for the initial launch; to the biological impacts of the -81 Fahrenheit Mars surface temperature, the need to terraform our habitats, drill water from ice deposits, and set up human living colonies is immense.
However, all these challenges are external to us as humans. At they very core of our success on Mars and as an interplanetary species is how as complex biological organisms we deal with internal variability. The psychological wellbeing and physical performance of our first colonisers will far supersede the technical challenges we face. It may not seem like that now, but as the first 12 Martians set about the greatest mission in human history, alone 140 million miles from Earth, how they perform, react, and process their environment in the face of true desolation and uncertainty will be the deciding factor for life on Mars. CORE is here for that.
