7000 Verborgen- Belgian Dark dine and Bar
This Dark Dine restaurant revolves around the theme of Surrealism. Surrealism is a 1920s Art movement that deals with the Ideas of dreams and Illusion. Dreams can be connected to darkness. Hues like Steel Blue, Beige, Brown and white were extracted from a surrealist painting to paint the space. Meanwhile, Materials like wood add warmth. The focal point of the restaurant is the Dark dining dome.
Upon Entering, The Parametric seat greets the diner. To the left is a Sliding doorway to Retail. The entrance frames the restaurant in such a way, that the Dome is seen as if it were a painting. Furthermore, A Live music space vivifies the space. The regular dining area is teeming with the Curved Bench formations permeating out of the ceiling. The ceiling roots out of the orange peel dome spreading its weave with down-lights peeking through. Moreover, The dome dominates the space with its large Stature. Behind, A little glance of Bar can be observed. The bar features white marble tables and Cloud-like lights that add an Angelic glow to the space. The Halo of the bar fades with the dark assertive dome that represents the fading of a dream.
Cuisine:
Belgian Cuisine seemed like an appropriate choice. Belgium is the second most prominent country to be influenced by Surrealism. Moreover, Belgian dishes are baked and therefore have a
no-mess eating methodology that merges well with dining in the dark where eating needs to be facilitated.
