AU Logo brand redesing

The company logo that one of my favorite customers used before, now looks very old and we wanted to change it together. Based on the firm's initials, A and U, we worked on many sketches. We wanted it to have a modern look and tried to bring it closer to the image of infinity by combining the letters. So how do you think it looks?
