Roomeish logo

Roomeish is a brand name I conceptualised for a South African inspired ice cream shop opening in the Netherlands.

"Eish" is a popular slang term in South Africa for "Oh dear" and "roomys" is ice cream in the Afrikaans language. I combined the two words and created a truly South African name that will resonate well with the South African expat target audience.

For the icon, I incorporated the outline of South Africa into the icecream cone to further visually show the brands South African roots and rounded the logo off with a "stamp" visual to tap into the nostalgia of receiving post from home.
