Light vs dark mode - desktop

I'm planning to support dark mode for devices/browsers that provide the info, so working out color schemes for both light and dark.

Type scaling, spacing, and grid system are derived from a Modular Scale of 1.333 (perfect fourth) with a base type size of 16px.
