ShieldMADE'n // Post-Her Fund

Post-Her Fund // ShieldMADE'n is a personal project born out of my and others personal experiences with protests in Louisville, KY. Hearing complaints that some had wished we had access to some sort of protection — because umbrellas hurt when snapping shut.

The ShieldMADE'n arm would offer free/pay-what-you-can instructables or kits for constructing shields or other items that are generally cheaply and easily accessible to the general public and protesters.

Post-Her Fund would be the collection arm for anything beyond cost of materials and would donate to local protest initiatives and bail funds. Additionally, PHF would aim to educate netizens on the private, for-profit U.S. prison system especially the BIPOC & female experience.
