Goniurosaurus Toyami

Design commissioned by the project "One Million One Month" who started for the reason that we’re facing a major catastrophe in our planet: the sixth mass extinction. One million species are at risk of extinction due to human activity. There hasn’t been more pressing time than this to act. We want the world to know the faces of the million species at risk and raise awareness one species at a time. One Million One Month (1M1M) is a global initiative to raise awareness about endangered species
through art and social media. I was invited to be the ambassador of the Goniurosaurus Toyami or Toyama's Ground Gecko a critically endangered Japanese species. The design is a fully handmade mixed media collage technique featuring, colored paper, metallic paper, ink and spray paint.
