POR Samalayuca - "Protege LaVida"

Poster designed as part of a collection to create awareness about the proposal to open "La Gloria" an open sky copper mine in Samalayuca Mexico, which intends to use explosions, toxic solvents and and incredibly high amount of water, endangering the natural ecosystem and the community of the area. The design borrows a collage inspired aesthetic and it uses four colors that represent the desert of the north of Mexico in the state of Chihuahua. The technique is completely digital and it portrays the beautiful habitat that we have right now and that we could potentially lose if this operation moves forward.
