Lovecraftober #13 - DUNE [The Necronomicon]

Abdul Alhazred, the crazy Arab. He visited the ruins of Babylon and the underground secret of Memphis and spent ten years alone in the great Arabian desert, the Rub'Al Khali, which is allegedly inhabited by evil spirits and monsters of death. In his later years he lived in Damascus, where in 738 he wrote Al Azif, an evil book in Arabic that would later be known as the Necronomicon.
