Avatars

Two possible directions I could take these. Personally I'm leaning towards the top one, but the client requested a more generic/geometric option (with circle heads). I like them, but they're a little more cartoony. Might be the primary colors that are making them skew that way. Anyway, thought I'd share some process. Let me know what you think.

I should also mention that these are meant to be viewed at smallish sizes. Probably no bigger than 100px.

UPDATE:
I just noticed, the shadows in the top avatars are inconsistent. The yellow shirt lady is missing a shadow. Actually, the people themselves aren't supposed to have shadows (just their containers).
