Rise up
It’s not a new idea. In many states, there will be limited poll locations because of the COVID 19 pandemic. Less people gathering in spaces keeps people safe. Since election day is not a national holiday, a lot of people cannot make it to the polls because of work. Therefore it has the potential to increase voter turn out. As far as fraud goes, think about this: Over the past 20 years, more than 250 million ballots have been cast by mail nationwide, while there have been just 143 criminal convictions for election fraud related to mail ballots. That averages out to about one case per state every six or seven years, or a fraud rate of 0.00006%. If you still don’t trust that your vote will get there unscathed, you have the option to drop it off yourself at you designated polling office or municipal building.
