City living: Rennes

This is an illustration I made with Charlène Fournier, a talented illustrator.

This is a mood board for a motion design project that was ultimately postponed. Our client was offering an urban car rental service. The idea was to show the service at the heart of the city of Rennes.

We used a lot of symbolic features of Rennes to make it feel real and grounded, including the half-timbering on the houses, the covered market, the stipped tee-shirt and the seagull.
