My original sketches are in the middle. After starting the top sketch in Photoshop (right), I realized that at a smaller size, it was simply going to die, so I stopped before finishing and changed to a top-down view (left). This reads much better at smaller sizes and also gave me a large white canvas to plaster the letters of the app onto.

Except for the wood texturing, these items were all painted in Photoshop.
