World Sight Day

Today we celebrate inclusion and people with different abilities like I prefer to say. This is something I learned a lot about as a designer at Infragistics where my colleagues and I strive to meet accessibility standards in various ways. From the color contrast and color blindness tests for our data visualization palettes, through extensive WAI-ARIA support in Ignite UI for Angular, to side projects like our Extended Icons Library adding almost 300 glyphs to the Material Icons, some of which depict these different abilities. So today we celebrate not just the beauty that can be seen with the eyes, but also what comes from the hearts and minds of people drawing lines not to separate but to unite!
