Reyes I Make Cakes Bakery Branding

Reyes I Make Cakes, is a small Toronto-based bake shop. They focus on custom, artistic cakes for events both large and small.

When the shop's owner, Krizia, approached me, her business was booming: often booking out month after month. Her branding needed an update though, as she had recently transitioned from a side hustle to her full time gig.

Our goals for the project were to establish consistency and create a hand crafted brand system that would feel as unique as her cakes feel to her customers. We worked closely to establish a strong visual and tonal brand identity that combined playful copy, illustration, and friendly photography.

We did a refresh of the original RIMC whisk logo, established a consistent photo style and treatment, built a website to help manage orders and created an illustration system to match her service offerings.
