Axion Estin
Logo for a choir from Nikolo-Malitsky orthodox monastery that is located in a few kilometres from Tver city, Russia. The choir is called "Axion Estin" (Άξιον εστίν) that translated from Greek as 'It is Truly Meet', and sings in a Byzantine tradition. The letterforms were inspired by inscriptions from icons and frescoes by Manuel Panselinos, fresco and icon painter at the Protaton on Athos mount.
