Comfort Zone Experiential Collage

For my 1st self-guided piece, I made us of techniques and skills I have learnt from Experiential design. The series of collage, are created with the same pattern. They present a different persona’s comfort zone. The composition is all the same, with a persona in the centre, then a few layers of borders around them, those boarders are environment cut-outs, that represents the different environment. The closer the layer is to the persona, the more comfortable he or she feels. For the first collage,
it demonstrates an athlete’s comfort zone. From being in the gym to the sports eld to the stadium to a hospital or clinic. This clearly indicates an athlete’s mental state getting tenser as the environment move outwards. For the second piece, it is centred around a businessman. His comfort zone would be native countries where he travels, there is the family dinner scene, lastly the environment. For my third piece is about a college student. From being in her bed to festivals to busy streets, to the study desk, to the library, lastly to the campus.
