2020

From the ashes of broken countries and ages of broken men, 2020 has risen. The problems aren’t particularly new, neither are the warriors but when you look at this year from a perspective far away from that of the sufferer, barely anything seems real. From bugs destroying entire cities to the death of individuals on the hands of the protectors, the year seems to be the tipping point for mother earth. Cyclones, earthquakes, Gas leaks, Amazon fires, locust attacks, the Illuminati, World War 3 threats, all amidst a global pandemic that shut down the entire world.

But at the same time, we have joined hands against the migration crisis and raised fists for Black lives matter. It truly has been an incredible year. Each bit of this piece has aimed at reflecting the series of overpowering calamities and paramount issues that the world is facing today. While in a utopia the truth of the world may seem far off from what surrealism is, 2020 has successfully questioned it all, and hopefully, I have too.
