anna sui f/w 14 - WIP

it is truly difficult to observe anna sui's f/w 2014 presentation and not fall in love. while watching her show this weekend i was utterly blown away; she mixes all of my favorite things — precise, ornate chinese detailing with this edgy 20's / americana vibe. finely embroidered silks paired with beanies and shit. too dope.

these were my two favorite looks, painted in photoshop. it's part of my on-going effort to "brute force learning how to draw" and also practice drawing people. I left this as a work in progress but maybe when I have time I'll revisit it one of these days to polish it up. :)
