Facebook | macOS Big Sur inspired icon

I like to test vector tools to experiment with shadows, inner shadows, glows and layers and get this faux 3D icons style. Big Sur approach to icons is really refreshing. I love all the details that went in making all the new icons (except the QuickTime one - that one's awful).

I released the Figma file publicly so you can see how I made this one and maybe create your own icon. You can find it, copy it and remix it here.

For this one, I wanted to give the feeling of the logo splashed inside a blue squishy pool, sinking into it but not much since the liquid is pretty solid, like gum.

Did I achieve that? Any hints on how to step up that 3D game?
