Not everyone knows Milwaukee is the birth place of one of the world’s most iconic motorcycle brands. Of course everybody around here knows it... especially during anniversary years when thousands of rumbling hogs from across the country come to town and suddenly it becomes normal to yield to packs of bikes passing through red lights. 🤷‍♂️ Originally founded in 1903, HD grew quickly, expanded and started making a lot of bikes. This structure was one of the originals, shown here in 1906. I’ve never owned one myself but they always bring sense of nostalgia for me... my dad has owned a Harley since 1996. At 65 he’s taking more cross country trips on his bike than ever before. 😎🏍
