Ziina - Branding
Hey everyone, we are so happy to finally share all the fine work that went into branding, designing and successfully launching Ziina, UAE’s first licensed peer-to-peer payment app. Ziina is on a mission to bring the next generation of financial services to the Middle East.
For their identity, we developed a visual language in line with contemporary ways of consuming culture with Middle Eastern relevance. While the logo icon references traditional Islamic tiles and people coming together, the custom made wordmark gives the name a sophisticated modern look. This is then supported by the predominantly black and white colour palette, which can be paired with bold headlines and vibrant colours when the messaging needs to be more out-there. We also created a series of illustrations and graphics that give this brand a playful and cutting-edge character.
Thanks to True To Form for getting us on the project. Collaborating with TTF agency helped us define the product, it’s core features and craft research based user experience with a no-nonsense approach. Thanks to Filip, Wes and rest of the BB team for their work on the project as well.
