Chi-City, The Best City

This was a personal project I created to help build out my portfolio and because I genuinely love the city of Chicago (that’s where the tagline “Chi-City, the best city” came from). I am a huge Cubs fan so I started out by trying to create some sort of logo design for the Chicago Cubs so that I could own some unique to me Cubs gear. After getting a bit distracted, I stumbled upon a photo of the Chicago skyline and decided that I needed to design a concept of my own based on the skyline. There are some differences here between the actual skyline and the mockup but I wanted to include aspects of the city that can’t be seen from the water. Below are the individual designs.
