The target audience are 5 to 10-year olds. I chose the brand name, “ Ahoy,” because, kids want to be associated with games and exciting interactions. The target audience attend primary school so I chose the primary colours and white & black for the logo.

I chose a pirate theme to captivate children. Every other soap brand targets adults, so targeting children is an outstanding method, which creates traffic to the brand. The character engages the customer and draws your attention to the soap, while others competitors don’t have a mascot. Ahoy has a multipack for customers with different tropical flavours , that encourage people to try different flavours.

The different coloured boats depict the various flavours of the soap. The visual with the ship skiing through the water, shows the parrot is enjoying playing with the boat in bath. The splash visuals and splash flaps indicate the boat is fun to play with..
