Headspace Widgets for iOS 14

I got fed up waiting for widget updates and had a go at designing a few myself.

Live Prototype

I built a simple web app using React to showcase widget designs by emulating the native iOS user interface. You can play around with it here.

Challenge

The big challenge was presenting content that would be genuinely useful for users on a daily basis, while supporting the business objective of boosting engagement.

Solution

The "run streak" feature has been a big motivator for me and presented a great opportunity for a minimal solution shown in the first widget. The other widgets all present content the user has engaged with recently across different areas of the app, letting you dive back into courses, workouts and playlists right from the home screen.
