Concept for The Idea Enterprise website

Unused homepage concept for a collaborative organization affiliated with ASU, called The Idea Enterprise. Their mission is to take the most innovative ideas from academia and, by pairing idea-makers with experienced private-sector executives, make the ideas come to fruition.

Approach

The approach to this homepage concept was to illustrate a 30,000-ft view of 'how it works', while directing users to major interior pages of the site to learn more. This was boiled down to 3 main stages of their process: Submit, Collaborate, and Advance.

Tried to present this as an evolution to ASU's brand standards (mainly with respect to typography), given that they are not a direct branch of ASU and also the progressive nature of their mission. In the end however, I think the brand police are going to win this one. Images and logo in this layout are FPO.

The 3-part top area was meant to expand each section on hover, revealing an infographic (as the attachment shows).
