Bookmark this page

Having a bit of a play with strikethrough text and different hover states for a module of a US higher ed site that will allow a user to quickly bookmark the page to return to later.

The challenge is that their is a link there that takes you though to the page, but also a little 'x' to the right, and hovering that deletes the bookmark. The little close button only appears when the page is hovered, so am trying to make it clear that moving the cursor from the page link to the close button has a different action, which I think is working quite well with a bit of opacity and a strikethrough.
