Creative Companion // Youth Mentorship

Studies have shown children in high-poverty communities have less access to educational opportunities and resources that allow them to thrive. We discovered that quality mentoring relationships have a positive effect on middle adolescents in personal, academic, and professional outcomes. It is essential to prepare and expose growing individuals to all possibilities of creative opportunities while they are young.

My team, Pixel Perfect Babes, and I designed Creative Companion, a mentorship and networking platform for highschoolers that bridges the gap between youths in underrepresented communities to education and career resources that would nurture their young creative minds.
