Danish Channel One News Platform

Complete identity for the Channel One News Platform, Denmark. Intros, outros and headline breaks. The brief was to base an upgrade on an old two dimensional still logo Channel One News had been using since the 60s. I conceptualised, storyboarded and animated intros, outros and headline breaks. For the design of various studio backgrounds within the news department, I collaborated with set design and music score composer. It was used for some years by national television before it again was updated. This was 14 years ago, so a lot has been happening since then in animation for tv. Back then, I was happy with the result, though I would probably think up a less steely cold - Gotham City - retro look today!
