Fort Sofa

Thinking about how so many of us did a staycation this summer. We usually visit Acadia National Park but instead my kids built forts out of the sofa and “explored” the backyard. Obviously, this wasn't the summer any of us had imagined but some good still emerged. I’m impressed by the creativity my kids demonstrated in finding ways to entertain themselves. Hide-and-seek evolved into some kind of Harry Potter themed adventure (I’m not clear on the details but my kids assured me that it was “epic.”). It was a good reminder to stay positive.
