Joy Division styled map of Oregon

A simple Joy Division styled map of Oregon based on elevation. Also known as joyplots, these types of maps can really be set to any sort of variable you want. While this one is showing elevation, it would be just as easy to set it to population to see where most people live.

One of the things I love most about joyplots and elevation though is how, if you look at it long enough, you can really start to convince yourself it's three dimensional. Give it a try!
